Atlas is on Google Play for Android, and the iPhone app is coming soon. On an iPhone, shop on apilox.co.tz in Safari — or simply use WhatsApp.

How do I order on WhatsApp?

Send HELLO to +255 723 329 239, choose English or Swahili, then tap “Search a medicine” and type its name. Pick a pharmacy, choose how many packs and check out in the chat.

How does my prescription get checked?

When you check out with a prescription-only medicine, send a photo of your prescription. A pharmacist at the pharmacy you chose approves it before you pay, or tells you why it can’t be accepted.

With the options your pharmacy accepts: mobile money (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money) or cash at the pharmacy. You get a receipt when the pharmacy confirms your payment.

Does it cost anything to use?

No. Atlas, the Atlas web and shopping on WhatsApp are free — you only pay the pharmacy for your medicine.
