Welcome to Apilox Health ("Apilox," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Apilox mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
Apilox Health is a digital pharmaceutical marketplace and healthcare access platform connecting patients with licensed pharmacies, healthcare providers, and delivery partners across Tanzania. Apilox does not manufacture medicines and does not replace professional medical advice.
To use Apilox, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or use the Platform under parental or guardian supervision.
- Be legally capable of entering a binding agreement under Tanzanian law.
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
Apilox enables users to:
- Refill prescriptions from registered and licensed pharmacies.
- Purchase OTC medicines, supplements, and healthcare products.
- Access pharmacy information and medicine availability in real time.
- Request delivery services across Tanzania where available.
- Use deferred payment or credit features, subject to eligibility.
Apilox acts as a technology facilitator, not a healthcare provider or insurer.
Apilox does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. All medical decisions must be made between you and a licensed healthcare professional.
Information on the Platform is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice.
By using Apilox, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
- Use medicines strictly as prescribed or labeled.
- Not misuse, resell, or distribute medicines unlawfully.
- Respect pharmacists, delivery staff, and all healthcare providers.
You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account.
Apilox partners with licensed and regulated pharmacies verified by the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania. However:
- Apilox does not control pharmacy pricing, stock decisions, or professional clinical judgment.
- Apilox is not liable for actions or omissions of third-party pharmacies or delivery providers.
Some services may require payment or offer pay-later / credit options:
- Prices are clearly displayed before you confirm any order.
- Credit services are subject to individual approval and repayment terms.
- Failure to repay credit balances may result in service suspension.
All payments must comply with applicable laws in Tanzania.
All content, trademarks, logos, software, and designs on Apilox are the property of Apilox Health or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.
You may not:
- Use Apilox for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes.
- Upload false prescriptions or impersonate healthcare professionals.
- Interfere with platform security or other users' accounts.
- Abuse, harass, or threaten users or staff.
Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal referral.
Your use of Apilox is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with Tanzania's Data Protection Act and applicable regulations.
Apilox may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms.
- Required by law, regulation, or a competent authority.
- Your use poses risk to patients, pharmacies, or the platform.
Termination does not affect obligations accrued prior to that date.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Apilox shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Apilox does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
