Apilox was born out of a frustrating reality — patients walking door to door across Dar es Salaam searching for medicines that were either out of stock, unavailable, or simply impossible to track down without hours of manual effort.

Founded by pharmacists and technologists who witnessed these gaps firsthand, Apilox set out to build a unified digital layer connecting Tanzania's fragmented pharmacy network — giving every patient real-time visibility, seamless refills, and doorstep delivery.

Before Apilox, finding medicine was a physical ordeal. Today, our connected network means patients find their medicines in minutes, not hours — and pharmacies reach more customers than ever before.

No. We support OTC medicines, supplements, wellness products, and cosmetics — alongside prescription refill as our core feature. Patients access everything in a single platform.
How does Apilox ensure regulatory compliance?
All pharmacies in our network are TMDA-verified before onboarding. We operate under the Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Act, the Pharmacy Act 2002, and all applicable TMDA guidelines.
