Apilox believes privacy is a right, not a feature. This page explains the choices you have over how your personal and health data is collected, used, and shared when using the Apilox App and services.
We are committed to giving you meaningful control over your information — because trust is the foundation of every healthcare relationship.
You may review, update, or correct your personal information at any time through your Apilox account settings. This includes your name, phone number, email address, and delivery information.
To request a full copy of the personal data we hold about you, contact privacy@apilox.co.tz.
Your health information is used only to provide healthcare services such as prescription refills, consultations, and medicine delivery.
- You may request access to or deletion of certain health records where legally permitted.
- Health data is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.
You can choose how Apilox communicates with you:
- SMS notifications for prescription updates and delivery status.
- App push notifications for order tracking and health reminders.
- Email updates for newsletters and product announcements.
You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time through your account notification settings.
Location data is used to:
- Find nearby pharmacies with your required medicines in stock.
- Enable accurate delivery to your door.
You may disable location access in your device settings at any time, though some features such as pharmacy discovery and delivery tracking may be limited.
Apilox does not sell your data. Your information is only shared with partners who are directly involved in delivering your healthcare services.
You may request full details about which partners (pharmacies, delivery providers) receive your data by contacting privacy@apilox.co.tz.
You may request permanent account deletion by contacting Apilox support at privacy@apilox.co.tz. Once confirmed, your account and associated personal data will be removed.
Some data may be retained where required by healthcare or regulatory laws, including prescription records and transaction history.
